Theme: “Rag, Rhythm And Blues”

Location: Lewis & Clark Middle School - 6901 Burt Street, Omaha, NE
During the month of May, the Chris Short Music Studio produces its annual music
recital that features each student and their accomplishments from the year past.
The music recital includes students playing piano, guitar and band instrument
solos along with duets from the students. In addition to the students solos and
duets the older students play together in combos.

The studio invites other musical guest artist to perform in each year’s show. They
consist of professional musicians from Omaha, Nebraska area that play featured
tunes from each year’s music recital theme. This is a great way for the younger
students to watch, listen, encourage, and motivate them to continue their lessons.

Each student’s music recital selection is chosen by the student with the guidance of the instructor. Through this
process the students has fun and also learns how to perform in a public setting. Each year’s music recital is
